Vijay Laxmi Transprot Co is located at 1546 Umarpada in Andheri East. If you know anything about Andheri East, you know it is one of the busiest places you can be. There is never a quiet moment on the street outside. Our office is tucked away in a spot where we can manage our transport business. It’s a tough area for driving because of the narrow roads and the constant flow of people, but we make it work. Inside the office, things are pretty simple. We have a few desks where we handle all the booking and the billing. There are stacks of paper everywhere because we still like to keep physical copies of everything. The walls are a bit faded, and the lighting isn't the brightest, but it serves us just fine. We spend a lot of time on the mobile phones, coordinating with people across the city. The heat in Mumbai can be a bit much, so we usually have the windows open to catch whatever breeze we can get. It’s a local operation, nothing corporate about it. We have a small crew of people who have been with us for a while. We know the shortcuts around Umarpada and how to navigate the traffic during the peak hours. It’s just a regular transport office doing its thing in a very crowded part of the city.
