Vidya Eye Hospital

Vidya Eye Hospital is located in Jolly Square, right on Ghod Dod Road. This is a very popular part of town, so there are always people walking around Jolly Square. Our hospital is at F/16, which isn't hard to find if you know the area near Ramchowk. Inside, we have several rooms dedicated to checking people’s vision. We have those charts with the letters that get smaller as you go down. The rooms are kept a bit dark so the doctors can look into people’s eyes with their lights. It’s a quiet place compared to the noise of Ghod Dod Road outside. We have a lot of different frames for glasses on display in the front area. People spend a lot of time trying them on in front of the mirrors. Our reception desk is always covered in small slips of paper and eye drop bottles. We have a few benches for people to sit on while they wait for their eyes to be tested. The staff is used to the daily flow of patients coming in from the Ramchowk area. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a big corporate feel here. It’s just a place where we help people see a little bit better. We’ve been at this Jolly Square spot for many years and we know the area well.
