Vardhman Minerals

Vardhman Minerals is tucked away in Raj Palace, which is at No. 402 on Ghod Dod Road. Most people know the area because of the Kakadia Complex, and we are right behind that. The office is not very huge, but it is enough space for us to keep our samples and the paperwork that comes with dealing in minerals. We spend most of our time looking at charts and talking to suppliers. The traffic on Ghod Dod Road can get really loud in the evenings, so we usually keep the windows shut to get some peace while we work. We have been in this building for some time now and the hallway always smells a bit like floor cleaner. Our desks are covered in bits of rock and dust from the different sites we deal with. It is not the kind of job where you wear a suit every day, as things tend to get a bit messy when we are checking what we got. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which is how we start every morning. There is always a lot of back and forth with the transporters and making sure the bags are weighed right. It is a lot of routine, but we like the rhythm of it. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay ahead of the orders coming through.
