Flex Pack

Flex Pack is over at Plotno. 30/3 on the Silvassa Road in Dungra. We’re right in that busy stretch of Vapi where everything is always moving. We make different kinds of packaging materials for other companies. It’s mostly rolls of film and bags that people use for their own products. The factory floor is always full of stacks of material waiting to go out. It gets a bit crowded sometimes, especially when a big shipment comes in at Paiki 2. We’ve been here long enough to know all the truck drivers who pass through this road. It’s not the cleanest work, as there’s always bits of scrap and plastic dust from the machines. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it’s tough to keep up. Most of the staff live nearby, so they just walk or bike in. We don’t have a lot of meetings or anything like that. We just look at the schedule for the day and get to it. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around for a bit, which is frustrating. But usually, the machines are humming along. We just focus on making sure the seals are strong and the sizes are what the customer asked for. It’s straightforward work. No one here wears a suit. We’re usually in work clothes and trying to stay out of the afternoon heat. It’s just a regular factory day for us here in Dungra.
