We’ve been here at 921234 Juna Wadaj Aganovad for quite some time now. Dealing with watches is what we do every day. It's a small shop, nothing fancy, but we keep things running. People from around the neighborhood stop by when their watch stops ticking or if they need a new strap. Sometimes the batteries die and they just need a quick swap. We handle those little mechanical bits and gears that most people don't want to mess with themselves. My hands are usually a bit stained from the tools, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. V M Patanwala Watch Co isn't a big chain store or anything like that. It’s just us here. We see the same faces coming back over the years. Some people bring in old watches that belonged to their grandfathers, hoping we can make them move again. It’s quiet work, mostly sitting at the bench under a bright lamp. The street outside can get noisy, especially in the afternoons, but inside it’s just the sound of tiny clicks. We don't have a big website or a team of people answering phones. If you come to Aganovad, you’ll find the shop. We just try to get the job done right so the watch keeps time for a bit longer. It's a simple living, and we’re used to the routine of it all by now. There is always a watch to open or a pin to fix.
