Universal Minerals

Universal Minerals is located at Plot No.64/B-2, right off N.H.No.8 in the village of Moti Naroli. We’re near the Kim Char Rasta in Mangarol Taluka, which is a very busy intersection for trucks and travelers. Being so close to the highway means we see a lot of traffic passing by all day long. Our work involves various types of minerals that come in from different mines and quarries. There are big piles of raw materials sitting out in the yard, waiting to be processed or loaded onto trucks for delivery. It’s a very open site, so we’re always at the mercy of the weather, whether it’s the heavy rains or the blowing dust in the dry season. We have a small office building on the plot where we handle the weighbridge tickets and the billing. It’s a very practical setup, nothing fancy at all. We spend a lot of time coordinating with truck drivers and making sure the loads are the right weight before they head back out onto the national highway. The noise from the road is constant, but you stop noticing it after a few days. We’ve been in Moti Naroli for a while and we know the local transporters well. It’s a lot of manual coordination and keeping track of tons and kilograms. We just try to keep the flow of minerals steady and the trucks moving as scheduled.
