We have been operating at Athwa 41278 for a good number of years now. The official name on the paperwork is United Auto Proprietor Archana Distributors Pvt Ltd, but around here, most people just call us the auto parts shop. It is a bit of a crowded space, to be honest. There are stacks of cardboard boxes and heavy metal crates filled with distributor parts piled up against almost every wall. Sometimes it takes us a few minutes to find the specific piece a customer needs because the inventory is so large and the shelves are packed right to the ceiling. The ceiling fan in the corner makes this rhythmic clicking sound whenever we turn it on high, which is pretty much every day when the heat picks up. We spend most of our morning hours checking the manifests from the delivery trucks and making sure the orders for the local mechanics are sorted out. It is definitely not a fancy office or a polished showroom. We just have a few old desks, a lot of ledger books, and a constant stream of people coming in and out. Athwa is such a busy part of town that there is always the sound of horns and engines coming through our front door. My uncle was the one who got this business started, and these days we are just trying to keep it going the way he did. It is a lot of work, but it keeps us busy. We just manage the parts and try to stay organized enough so things do not get too messy during the afternoon rush. That is basically our day.
