Umiya Hydraulic & Pneumatic Pipe is located at shop number 7 in the Sahkar Nagar Shopping Centre. We are right by the Surat Road at the Kamrej Char Rasta, which is a very busy junction. If you’ve ever driven through Kamrej, you’ve probably passed by our place while stuck in traffic. We deal with all kinds of pipes and fittings for hydraulic systems. It’s a messy business sometimes, with oil and heavy metal parts everywhere. The shop is usually full of rolls of hose and crates of connectors. We spend a lot of our day cutting pipes to specific lengths or crimping ends for customers who come in with urgent repairs. Because we are right on the main road, it’s always dusty and noisy from the trucks going by at all hours. We don't have a fancy showroom; it’s more of a workshop where people come to get things fixed up. We’ve been here for years, and we know most of the mechanics and farmers in the area who use this kind of equipment. My hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning, but that’s just part of the job. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait to see who needs help. It’s a practical business for a practical area. We take some pride in knowing our stock and being able to find that one specific part someone needs.
