You can find Feny Fab Knitts over at E-3502, which is situated right behind the Old Bombay Market. Actually, we are tucked in that area between the Old and New Bombay Markets, so it’s right in the middle of all the textile action. This part of the city is always crowded with people moving bales of cloth and tempos trying to navigate the narrow lanes. Our space is filled to the brim with different types of knitted fabrics and rolls of cloth. It’s not a fancy showroom by any means; it’s more of a working warehouse where we spend our time counting stock and checking the quality of the knits. The lighting isn't the best in some corners, but we know where everything is kept. It’s a very busy atmosphere, and you can always hear the sounds of the market outside—people shouting, carts rattling, and the general hum of trade. We’ve been here for a good while, and we’ve seen the market change as the new section grew up around the old one. Most days are spent handling orders from various traders and making sure the right fabric gets to the right person. It’s hard work and the days are long, but that is just how it goes in the Bombay Market area. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a front desk, just a lot of fabric and a ledger to keep track of everything.
