Raja Motors Car Accessories is situated right where all the action is on the Ring Road. We are just near Udhna Darwaja, which is always packed with vehicles and people trying to get somewhere. Directly across from us is the World Trade Centre, a big building that makes our little shop look even smaller by comparison. Working with cars means we deal with a lot of grease and dust, and being so close to the main road doesn't help with the cleanliness much. We have shelves filled with all kinds of accessories, from seat covers to steering wheels, and sometimes it's a bit of a mess in here. We spend our days talking to drivers and showing them different parts that might fit their vehicles. It gets loud with the horns honking outside, but you get used to it after a few months. The sun beats down on the pavement near Udhna Darwaja, making the shop quite hot in the summer months. We usually have a chai around four o'clock to keep us going. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop on the Ring Road, we just want to help the people who stop by. Raja Motors has been our life for a few years now. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until late evening. If you're driving past the World Trade Centre, you'll probably see our sign hanging out front next to the sidewalk.
