Mahavir Narrow Fabrics

You will find us on the first floor at C-51 in the City Industrial Estate. This is on Udhna Main Road. It is quite easy to spot because we are right behind the Swami Narayan Temple. There is a lot of traffic around Road No. 6-G especially in the evenings. Near us is the Arihant Complex which usually has a lot of people moving around. Our space at Mahavir Narrow Fabrics is full of looms and rolls of yarn. It can get quite loud when everything is running at once. You have to shout a bit to be heard. We don't have much of a lobby. People just walk straight into where the work is happening. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep. We carry stuff up and down all day so we're used to it. The windows stay open to let some air in but it’s still warm. We have a small corner for keeping the ledger and the phone. It’s cluttered with samples and bits of thread. Sometimes the thread gets everywhere, even on our clothes when we leave. We don’t have a big team. It’s just a few of us who know how the machines work. We keep our heads down and watch the patterns. The temple nearby rings its bells and that’s how we know the time. It’s a decent place to work and we have been here for years.
