Working out of Get Colony in Hazira is an experience. Our office is Room No-11, tucked inside the Essar Steel area. Being in Surat means there is always movement around us. It's an industrial spot, so things can get a bit dusty and loud with all the activity nearby. We aren’t in some glass tower. It’s a functional room where we keep our files and take our breaks. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we make it work. Most of the guys here are local or have been here long enough to feel like it. We deal with the heat of Gujarat and the long shifts like everyone else in the colony. You won't find any fancy art on the walls or expensive coffee machines here. We just have our desks, some chairs, and a lot of work to get through. It’s a straightforward setup for people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. We know the security guards and the delivery drivers by name. It’s that kind of place. We focus on the day-to-day operations and try to stay on top of the schedule. It’s not always easy, but it’s honest work. If you find yourself near the steel plant, that’s where you’ll find us. Just look for Room 11. We usually keep some cold water in the corner for whoever stops by, because the Surat heat doesn't mess around.
