The Shop Pro

You can find us at Pujan Plaza, right across from the Vanmali bus station near Yogi Chowk. It’s a busy corner in the Punagam area of Varachha. We started The Shop Pro to handle the kind of retail needs that people in this neighborhood have. Our place isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. We spend a lot of our time organizing the shelves and making sure we haven't run out of the things people ask for most. It’s a bit of a climb to get to the second floor, but once people find us, they usually come back. We deal with a lot of different products, so there’s always something new to look at. We don’t have a corporate office somewhere else; we are right here behind the counter most of the day. If someone has a question about a product, we just tell them what we know based on what other customers have said. We don't have any polished sales pitches. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic at Yogi Chowk, and we have to scramble to get everything put away before the evening rush. It’s a simple operation. We like being in Punagam because the people are straightforward and they appreciate a shop that just does its job without any fuss. We keep the doors open late most nights because that’s when most folks are finished with their own work and have time to visit us.
