If you head down Balaji Road near the Lalgate area, you’ll find us at 9/1651. This part of the city is always buzzing with activity, and our shop is no different. We handle a lot of import and export stuff related to home decor, so there are often big wooden crates sitting out front waiting to be unpacked. The inside of the building is filled with all sorts of items, from small decorative pieces to larger things that take two people to lift. It’s not a showroom with fancy lighting; it’s more of a working warehouse where things are stacked wherever they fit. We spend a lot of our time checking packing lists and making sure nothing got broken during the long journey here. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have a couple of big fans blowing air around to keep things moving. We’ve been in this spot near Lalgate for quite a while, and we know the other shopkeepers on the road pretty well. Sometimes we have to move things around just to make a path for people to walk through the store. It’s a lot of physical work, moving boxes and organizing stock, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't really have a lot of time for making the place look pretty, as we are always focused on the next shipment coming in through the door.
