Our office is up on the second floor of the Textile Tower over on Ring Road. We are at number 212. It is a busy building, and you will always see people carrying bundles of fabric up and down the stairs. We do import and export work, mainly focused on textiles since that is what everyone does in this part of town. The elevator is usually broken or takes forever, so we mostly just walk up. It is not a huge office, but we have enough space for our desks and all the files we have to keep. Most of our day is just spent on the phone or filling out forms to make sure goods get to where they are supposed to go. Ring Road is always a mess with traffic and trucks, so it can be a real headache to get here in the morning. We don't have any flashy signs or a nice waiting room for visitors. It is just a plain room where we get our work done. My cousin helps me with the bookkeeping and we drink a lot of tea while we go through the orders. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when a shipment is late, but we have been doing this long enough to not let it get to us too much. We deal with all sorts of people, from local weavers to guys further away. It is a straightforward business without any of that corporate talk. Stop by if you are in the building.
