Our engineering office is over in Coimbatore, tucked away in Karunya Nagar. We are in Room No 260 at J M R, which is a familiar spot for many folks around here. Techshap Engineering is basically just us working on various projects and drawings most of the day. Coimbatore is known for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the local scene. The office is usually piled high with blueprints and different technical manuals. It’s not the quietest place because there is always some discussion going on about how to build something or fix a design flaw. We have a small crew and we’ve all been doing this for long enough that we don't need much direction. We just show up, have some tea, and get into the engineering tasks. The building itself is pretty standard, nothing that would stand out from the street. We don't have any marketing people or big sales teams. Most of our work comes from people who just know we are here and what we do. It’s a lot of staring at screens and checking measurements. Sometimes we have to head out to sites, but a lot of the heavy lifting happens right here in room 260. We try to keep things organized, though with all the projects going on, the desks usually look a bit cluttered by the end of the week. That's just how engineering goes for us.
