Technogem Consultants Pvt. Ltd. has roots in Thane and Mumbai, but our current operations are handled from a row house in Surat, Gujarat. We’re located in the Nilam Row Housing Society, specifically at Row House 66 in Unn-Patiya. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than a typical commercial district, which we actually prefer for the most part. Working out of a house means we have a bit more of a comfortable vibe, though the living room is now mostly filled with filing cabinets and printers. We do a lot of consulting work that requires a lot of concentration and quiet time to get the numbers right. Being in Surat means we have to deal with the local heat, but the neighborhood is friendly enough. We usually have people coming in and out during the day, mostly just local contacts or people we’re working with on projects. We don't have a big neon sign outside or anything like that. If you didn't know the address, you might just walk right past us. We’ve been operating this way for a while because it keeps our overhead low and lets us focus on the actual consulting tasks. It’s a bit of a juggle managing things between Thane and Surat, but we make it work with a lot of phone calls and emails. It’s a simple, honest way to run a consultancy, and we’re quite happy with it.
