Techno Fabrics

You’ll find Techno Fabrics over at the Shri Satyanarayan Industrial Society, specifically at 21/A. It’s right off Udhna Magdalla Road, which stays pretty crowded most of the day. Working in an industrial area like this means there is always a truck being loaded or unloaded nearby. Our space is full of different rolls of fabric stacked up against the walls. It’s not the quietest place to spend a day, but we’re used to it. The floor is concrete and we spend a lot of time walking back and forth checking the stock. The air usually has a bit of lint floating around from the materials. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high and the heat in the shed becomes a problem. Tea breaks are usually taken standing up near the front door where there is a bit of a breeze. Most of our neighbors are also doing industrial work, so there is a constant hum of machinery in the air. We don't really bother with decorating the place. It's just a workspace where we manage the fabric rolls and get them ready to go out. The traffic on Magdalla Road can be a real headache when we are trying to get things moved, but we manage. It’s a straightforward setup here. We just handle the textiles and keep things moving as best we can every day.
