We are based over at Narmada Nagar Society in the Kamrej Char Rasta area of Surat. The office is in A14 Shyam Niwas, which is a bit of a different feel compared to some of our bigger site locations. Being in Gujarat, we deal with a lot of the local project management and paperwork that comes with the engineering work we do. It is a decent spot and easy enough for the staff to get to from around the district. We have a small group here that mostly looks after the administrative side of things and coordinates with the main office in Hyderabad. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is a nice change from the actual construction sites where most of the heavy work happens. We start early most days to beat the heat and stay on top of the emails and site reports coming in. There is always a lot of back and forth with different departments. We don't have any flashy signs or anything, just a regular place where we do our jobs. Most of the time we are just busy tracking shipments or making sure the workers on the ground have the right instructions. It is a lot of checking lists and making phone calls to keep everything moving. We have been here for some time now and it works well for what we need to get done every day without any extra complications.
