Tata Green

Our shop, Tata Green, is situated on the 100 Feet Ring Road in Varachha. You can find us right opposite the Gitanjali Theater. It’s a very loud and busy part of Varachhali, especially in the evenings when the theater has shows. We deal with batteries mostly. The shop is filled with those heavy plastic casings and the smell of lead and acid sometimes. It’s not the cleanest job, but it’s what we know. People come in when their cars won't start or their home power backup is failing. We spend a lot of time testing voltages and lugging heavy batteries out to people’s vehicles. The 100 Feet Ring Road is always humming with traffic, so there is never a quiet moment. We’ve been across from Gitanjali Theater for quite a long time now. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just try to make sure we have the right battery in stock when someone needs it. Sometimes we have to tell people their old battery is completely dead, which is never fun, but that’s the reality. It’s just us here, doing the work and watching the traffic go by on the ring road. We keep things simple and honest, just like any other local shop in Varachha. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes every day. We stay until the last customer is sorted out.
