Takatuka Transport

We are located at 655 on the 14 Ring Road. If you spend any time on the Ring Road, you know how it is—always trucks, always dust, and always someone honking their horn. My name is part of the team here at Takatuka Transport. We spend our days dealing with the logistics of moving things from one place to another. Our office is basically just a small building on a big lot where the trucks can pull in and out without hitting anything. It gets very loud when the big engines are idling right outside the door. We have a couple of desks that are covered in delivery notes and old maps that we still use even though everyone has a phone now. The coffee here is usually too strong because we make it in big batches to stay awake during the long shifts. It’s a rough and tumble kind of business. We don't have fancy carpets or air conditioning that works all that well, but the trucks keep moving and that is what matters. Most of the guys have been with us for years. We know the roads around here like the back of our hands. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do every day and every night. The lights on the Ring Road never really go out, and neither do we, mostly because there is always another load to move. We've been here for a long time and we aren't planning on changing anything.
