You can find us behind the Swastik Weigh Bridge on the Surat Kadodara Road in Vareli, Taluka-Palsana. Being so close to the weigh bridge means we see a lot of trucks and heavy traffic every single day from our front door. Our workshop is where we make all kinds of wire netting for our customers. It is a lot of metalwork, and the air always has a bit of an industrial smell to it from the machines. We use these big, heavy looms to weave the wire into mesh, and they make a lot of noise when they are running. We have got a small crew of guys who have been doing this for a long time, and we all know exactly how the machines behave when they get old. The floor is made of rough concrete and is usually covered in small scraps of wire that we have to be careful about when we walk. Our office is nothing more than a desk in the corner with some old filing cabinets for the records. We do not really do much with technology; most of our orders are just written down in a big ledger book by hand. We prefer to do things the old-fashioned way because it is what we are used to. It gets pretty warm in Surat during the summer months, so we keep the big fans going at full speed. People come to us when they need fencing or mesh, and we show them what we have.
