Staywell Battery Centre

So, we are over on Udhna Magdalla Road, but it’s that spot near the Sola Road Naranpura side, right by the Saiyedpura Pumping Station. If you get lost, just look for the station. Batteries are heavy things, my back knows that for sure. We handle all sorts, for cars, bikes, and those big backup units for houses. The shop always smells a bit like acid and metal, which I don’t even notice anymore, though my wife complains about it. We have tools scattered all over the workbench. Usually, I’m covered in a bit of grease by noon. People come in when their cars won’t start, usually looking stressed. I just test the cells and see if it can be saved or if it’s dead. It’s honest work. I’ve been doing this for a while now. The location is okay, though the dust from the road is a constant battle. We keep the shutters open for the breeze. There’s a small stool out front where I sit when there’s no work. My neighbor at the tea shop keeps me supplied with caffeine. It’s not a fancy showroom with glass walls. It’s a place where we get our hands dirty and fix things. We just stay here until the work is done for the day. That’s pretty much the whole story. We don't close until late, especially if someone is stuck with a dead battery nearby. We just help them out.
