Soham Industrial Diamonds is based at No. A-43 in the Vaikunthdham Society, which is on Laxmikant Ashram Road. We are quite close to the Hathiwala Mandir in Katargam. This area is known for diamond work, but we focus strictly on the industrial side. We don't deal with the shiny jewelry you see in shop windows. Our diamonds are used for industrial tools, for cutting and grinding hard materials. It is a very quiet and detailed kind of work. We spend most of our hours sitting at benches with magnifying glasses and small trays. We have to be very careful with how we sort and grade the stones because even a small mistake can matter. We aren't a big company with many layers of management. It’s just a small group of us who have learned the trade over the years. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy offices. Most of our customers have known us for a long time and they just come to us because they know we are here. Katargam is a busy neighborhood, so it’s nice to have a quiet shop where we can focus. Sometimes we take a break and walk down towards the temple to get some fresh air. We don't have any big mission statements or goals other than just getting through the day's tasks and keeping the business steady. It’s a routine and simple way to spend the day.
