Sk Vekaria Bulding Cont. Ltd (London)

Our office is located in Surat, Gujarat, specifically in the 395004 area. Even though the name Sk Vekaria Bulding Cont. Ltd (London) has London in it, we are right here in India. It's a bit of a story how that name came about, but we don't worry about it much. We handle building contracting work from this spot. Surat is a busy city and there is always something going on with construction nearby. We spend a lot of time on site, but this is where we keep all the paperwork and plans. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a place to work. We have a couple of guys who come in and out all day. Sometimes the heat in Gujarat gets to be a bit much, so we keep the fans going. We've been around the neighborhood for a bit now. People know where to find us if they need to talk about a project. It’s a straightforward setup. No big reception area or anything like that. Just some chairs and a big table for looking at drawings. We try to keep things organized but it gets messy when we are busy. That’s just the way it goes in this line of work. We’re happy staying local here in Surat. It's where we belong and we know the streets and the people. We don't need a fancy office. As long as we have our tools, we are good.
