Singapuri Auto

We are located right on Ring Road at GF 4, which is a pretty busy spot if you know the area. The traffic is almost constant, so there is always a layer of dust on the front window that I have to wipe down every morning. Inside, it smells mostly like rubber and motor oil, which I guess is expected for an auto shop. We’ve got shelves stacked with different parts and containers, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for. I’ve been working here for years and my hands are usually a bit stained from handling the metal pieces. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or soft chairs, just a functional space where we get things done. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to this stretch of Ring Road for a long time. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and talking to delivery drivers who bring in the new stock. It gets quite hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building, so we usually keep the fan running on high. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s so quiet you can hear the clock ticking on the wall. We just keep the doors open and handle whatever walk-ins we get. It’s basic work, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills.
