Shyam Construction

Our office is situated in Shivanjali Apartment, right near the Palanpur Jakatnaka in Surat. Being on the third floor in unit D/301 puts us right in the middle of a very busy part of the city. Construction is what we do, so the space is often filled with rolls of blueprints and samples of tiles or granite. While we spend a lot of time out at various project sites, this is the hub for all our paperwork and bills. Surat is growing so fast that you can see new structures going up in almost every direction from our window. The building itself is a standard residential and commercial mix, and we've been here long enough that the neighbors are all familiar faces. Some days are just a long string of phone calls to vendors who are stuck in traffic with a load of cement. It gets a bit cramped in the office when the site supervisors come in to talk about the day's progress. We don't have any decorative plants or expensive furniture, just the essentials like a water cooler and a few chairs. The evening traffic around the Jakatnaka can be really frustrating if you're trying to leave in a hurry. We just keep our heads down and focus on finishing the buildings we started. It is a small, hardworking team that has been together for years.
