Shreenathji Homeopathic Clinic

I work at Shreenathji Homeopathic Clinic, which is actually inside an apartment building. We are at B 5 Vishal Nagar Apartment, Flat No 5. It’s right opposite the Gujarat Gas Circle in Adajan. Being in a flat makes the clinic feel a lot less like a cold office and more like a home, I think. You have to buzz the bell to come in, and sometimes the gate downstairs sticks a bit if you don't pull it hard enough. The living room of the flat has been turned into the waiting area. We have some heavy wooden chairs and a small table with a glass top. The view out the window is just the busy Gujarat Gas Circle, so there is always something to watch if the wait is a bit long. I spend a lot of time filling those tiny white sugar pills into little plastic bags. The smell of the clinic is mostly just old paper and a bit of lavender sometimes. Since we are in Vishal Nagar Apartment, we know most of the neighbors, and they often pop their heads in just to say hello. It’s a bit cramped when more than four people are waiting at once, but we make it work. Adajan is a nice area to be in, even if the traffic at the circle gets a bit loud in the evenings. We just keep our window cracked a bit for the breeze.
