Mahesh International

Mahesh International is over at No. 102 in the Shree Kuberji Plaza on Ring Road. Ring Road is always full of trucks and people moving crates, so it is a very loud area to work in. Our office is on the first floor. It is basically one big room where we handle all the paperwork and the daily phone calls. We do some export work and some local stuff too. It is not a very exciting place to look at if you visit. We have a few old desks and some filing cabinets that are starting to rust a bit at the bottom. The lift in the building is often broken, so we end up walking the stairs a lot of the time. We have a small table for visitors but we do not get many people just dropping in. Most of our work is done over the phone or by mail. The window looks out at the main road and you can see the traffic all day long. Mahesh started this a long time ago and we just keep it running now. Our computer is quite old and takes a while to start up in the morning. We keep samples in the cupboards but the main stock stays in a warehouse elsewhere. We go down to the tea stall twice a day. It is just a regular workplace where we try to get things moving.
