Our operation is based out of Plot 516 in the GIDC area of Sachin, down in the Chorasi part of Surat. Being in an industrial zone like GIDC means it’s always loud and there’s always a truck moving somewhere nearby. Shivmahima Impex Llp is right in the middle of all that action. We deal with importing and exporting goods, and our location here makes it easier to handle the physical side of things. The office part of the building is nothing special, just a place for us to keep our records and manage the logistics. It gets pretty dusty out here in Sachin, and the heat in the summer is no joke, but we’re used to the industrial environment. We spend our days talking to drivers, checking weights, and making sure the containers are loaded correctly. It’s hands-on work. We don't have a lot of people in suits coming by; it’s mostly workers and logistics guys. We take pride in just getting the job done without making a big deal about it. There’s a certain rhythm to the GIDC that we’ve become a part of over the years. We start early, work hard, and try to make sure everything we handle gets to where it’s supposed to go. It’s practical, everyday work that keeps the wheels turning for us and our partners. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days we are just waiting for a container to arrive. That is just how it goes.
