Surya Tex

Surya Tex is over in Shalimar Market, right on the Ring Road. If you know the area, you know how hectic it gets with all the trucks and loaders moving around. We are at units 350 and 351. It’s a standard market setup, nothing too flashy. We spend a lot of our time surrounded by rolls of fabric and plastic packing sheets. The floor is usually covered in bits of thread and tape by the end of the day. It’s just how it goes when you’re moving stuff in and out. Most of the staff has been here a while, so we all know the routine. We start early, grab some breakfast nearby, and then get to work. The phones ring quite a bit and there is always someone coming in to check on a delivery. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we like being in the middle of the action. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up using the stairs more than we’d like. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just the space we need to store the goods and get them sent out to where they need to go. It’s a practical setup and we just focus on getting the daily list of chores finished before the market closes up for the evening.
