Our office is over at Sukh Sagar Apartment, right here in Surat. If you know the 395007 zip code, you know it’s a standard residential area where things are fairly quiet most days. We’ve been working in construction for a while, dealing with the usual headaches of sites and materials. It's not always easy work, especially when the Gujarat heat hits in the summer months. We mostly spend our time looking over blueprints and making sure the guys on site have what they need. We aren't a massive corporation with a glass skyscraper; we just work out of unit 101. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the files and folders, but we manage. People come in and out all day, talking about cement or steel or whatever project is currently on the go. We try to keep things straightforward and don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just building stuff and making sure it stays up. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up some paperwork or wait for a delivery that got stuck in traffic. That’s just how it goes in this industry. Surat is growing fast, so there is always something to do. We just keep our heads down and focus on the current job. It’s a regular office with regular people trying to do a decent day’s work.
