Saurabh Textiles

We are based in Belgium Square, right in the middle of all the noise and the crowds. Saurabh Textiles is basically a collection of heavy fabric rolls and samples piled up high. If you walk into our space, you will probably see us buried under some loose cloth or talking on the phone with the mills. It is a busy place and there is always someone moving heavy bundles around the hallways. The elevators in this building are always slow or broken, so we end up using the stairs quite a bit every day. We have been in this textile market for a while and have seen many people come and go. We deal with all kinds of fabrics, and the floor is usually covered in threads and bits of plastic wrapping. It gets very cramped in here when a new shipment arrives from the units. There is really no quiet time here until the market finally closes for the day. We do not have a big corporate structure or any managers. It is just a few of us making sure the orders are packed and the bills are sorted. Sometimes the tea guy forgets our order, which is the only real drama we have. We know our regulars by their faces and they know they can find us here six days a week. It is a tight space but we make it work for our daily needs and shipments.
