Saumya Eye Hospital

Our place is located in Adajan, right inside Regent Square. If you’re familiar with the D Mart on Anand Mahal Road, we are very close to that. Being next to Karan Park makes it easy for most people to explain where they’re going. We deal with eyes all day. Sometimes it’s just someone needing a new pair of glasses because their old ones broke or their vision got a bit blurry. Other times, it’s more serious stuff like cataracts or infections. The hospital isn't huge, but we have what we need to check people's sight. The street outside can get pretty noisy with all the traffic heading towards the main road. Inside, we try to keep it a bit more orderly. Most of our mornings are spent doing checkups for older folks who live nearby. It feels like we know half the neighborhood by now. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s just us working through the list of patients every day. Some days are slower than others. We see kids who can't see the blackboard and adults who spend too much time on their phones. We just check the eyes and tell them what's going on. It’s simple work but important. Finding the right suite in the complex is usually the hardest part for new visitors. Once you're at 106, you're in the right spot. We just keep things running as best as we can.
