Sarthi Motors

Sarthi Motors is right in the middle of the Bombay Market area on L.H. Road. It’s a very busy part of the city, especially with all the textile shops nearby. We are close to Kalidashnagar and Vashant Bhikha Wadi. Running a motor business here means dealing with a lot of traffic and people in a hurry. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about how we park the vehicles we are working on. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with coffee. Most people just stand around and chat while we take a look at their engines. We’ve been in this spot for several years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The road outside is always being dug up for something or other, but we manage. We handle all kinds of mechanical work. It can get pretty loud with the market noise, but we’re used to it. I usually have grease under my fingernails by noon, and that’s how it should be in this line of work. We aren't interested in sounding like a big company. We are just local mechanics doing our job in a crowded market. It’s hard work, but it keeps us going. We know the shortcuts around Bombay Market Road and always try to help out the regulars who bring their cars here.
