Saloni Sarees

We operate out of the Millanium Textile Market which is always a loud and busy place to be. If you’ve ever been there you know how the hallways are constantly filled with people carrying bundles of cloth. Our spot is right in the middle of all that action. Most of the day is spent unfolding and folding sarees back up again after showing them to whoever comes by. It’s a lot of work on your feet but we are used to it by now. The market has its own rhythm and we’ve been part of it for a long time. There are stacks of boxes everywhere and sometimes it feels like we are running out of shelf space. We handle a lot of different fabrics and the colors can be a bit overwhelming when a new shipment arrives. It’s not a fancy boutique with soft lights or anything like that. It’s a real market shop where we deal with the daily hustle. We usually have tea delivered to the shop twice a day which is a nice break from the noise. The floors are a bit worn down from all the foot traffic but that just shows how many people come through here. Dealing with suppliers and customers all day keeps us pretty occupied. We just focus on getting the right items to the people who need them without any extra fuss. It gets hot in the afternoons but we have the fans going.
