Saloni Impex

Saloni Impex is tucked away in the Golden Point building near the BSNL office on Ring Road. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets with all the traders and the traffic. Our office, 120-121, is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s a small space filled with samples and piles of documents. We deal with a lot of people coming in and out, mostly asking about shipping dates or looking at the new stock we just brought in. Sometimes the elevator in the building doesn't work right, so we end up taking the stairs more than we’d like. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just how things are on Ring Road. We don't have a team of receptionists or anything like that. When you call, one of us just picks up the phone between tasks. We try to keep things organized, but when three different shipments arrive at once, the floor gets covered in bubble wrap and cardboard pretty fast. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the couriers by name. We just focus on getting the goods from one place to another without too many headaches. It’s not a fancy life, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We handle the paperwork, deal with the customs stuff, and just try to make sure everything gets where it needs to go. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that's usually when we take a second to breathe and look at the notes we've scribbled on our calendars.
