Our hospital is located on the second floor of Mahalaxmi Square. If you know where Honey Park Road is, you can’t really miss the building since it is right near the L. P. Savani Circle in Adajan. Being on the second floor means we have to make sure the lift is always working, which can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We have a mix of medical cases and maternity patients. It is a bit of a weird mix sometimes, seeing someone with a broken arm sitting next to a woman who is about to have a baby, but that is just how we operate. The circle outside is always busy, so there is a constant hum of scooters and cars. Inside, we have a few wards and a delivery room. The nurses are usually running around with charts, and the doctors are in and out of consultations. We don't have a fancy lobby with paintings. It’s mostly just white walls and tile floors that get mopped about ten times a day. People from all over Adajan come here because we are easy to get to. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs a bed, we find them one. If it’s just a quick check-up, we get them in and out as fast as the queue allows. It’s a busy, noisy, honest kind of place where real life happens every single day of the week, and we are just here to help out.
