S Gandhi Associates

Being up here at the World Trade Centre on Ring Road, you get a good view of the traffic. This is S Gandhi Associates, and our unit is number 3005. It’s a big building, so sometimes the elevators take a while, especially during the lunch hour when everyone is heading out. I’ve lived in this city my whole life, and the Ring Road area has changed so much lately. There’s always construction or something happening on the street below. We just keep our heads down and work. The office is straightforward, just some desks and chairs. It’s not one of those modern places with a coffee machine and a lounge. We just have a water cooler in the corner. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy from the hallway, but once the door is closed, it’s fine. I usually take the bus or get a rickshaw to the entrance. Finding 3005 is easy enough if you follow the signs near the lobby. Most of the neighbors in the building are also doing their own things, mostly quiet types. I usually bring my lunch from home because eating out every day gets expensive. It’s a busy spot, but it works for us. We’ve been at this address for a bit, and we know the security guards well. They’ve been here as long as I have. It is just a normal place to come and do a job without any extra stuff involved. We stay busy with the paperwork mostly.
