Rishabh Silk Mills

Our place is at No. 185 in the Silk City Market, right on the Ring Road. Rishabh Silk Mills is right in the middle of all the cloth trade action. The market is always loud and full of people moving rolls of fabric around. We have looms and machines that make a lot of noise when they are running. It is a bit dusty because of all the silk fibers in the air, but we are used to it. We spend our days checking the threads and making sure the machines don't jam up. It is repetitive work, but you have to pay attention or the fabric gets ruined. We have lunch sitting on the benches near the back entrance. The Ring Road is always jammed with trucks, so getting our shipments out takes some patience. We don't have a fancy showroom; it is mostly just the mill and a small area where we keep the finished rolls. Sometimes the colors of the silk are really bright, which makes the workspace look a bit better. We have been part of the Silk City Market for a long time now. Most of the other mill owners are our friends. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, without much fuss. The tea man comes around twice a day, and that is usually the highlight of the afternoon. We just focus on the machines and the fabric.
