Nikita Sarees

You can find Nikita Sarees at No. 3002 in Shreeji Market. If you know the Ring Road area, you know how crowded it gets around here. It’s always a bit of a squeeze with all the people and the traffic outside. Our shop is packed with stacks of sarees from the floor to the ceiling. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit because there are so many bundles waiting to be sorted or sent out. We’ve been in this market for a while now. Most of our days are spent folding, unfolding, and packing boxes. It’s repetitive work, but it’s what we know. The lighting in the market isn't always the best, so we have to be careful when we are looking at colors. We get a lot of noise from the hallway and the other shops nearby. It’s just the way it is in Shreeji Market. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just deal with people who walk in or call us up. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles when it’s really packed, but we just keep moving. It’s a family-run sort of feeling even if we aren't all related. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the slow afternoons. Then things pick up again and it's back to lifting heavy bags and marking invoices. It’s just a normal shop doing normal business every day. We try to keep it simple and get the orders right.
