Remson Tyre Treaders

Remson Tyre Treaders is tucked away in the Dal Mill Compound. You can find us at Kim 11th A Cross, in the Vyanikaval Extension area. We are right opposite the Surat Jilla Sahakari Sangh. This place is not a showroom. It is a workspace where we deal with old tires. We take the worn-out ones and put a new tread on them so they can be used again. It is a heavy, physical job. The machines we use are old but they still work fine for what we need. There is always a smell of burning rubber in the air, but we don't really notice it anymore. The compound is often crowded with delivery trucks dropping off loads of casings. We have a small crew here. Most of us have been doing this for years. We eat our lunch sitting on stacks of rubber when it's busy. It’s dusty work and by the end of the shift, we are usually covered in black soot. We don't have a website or a fancy office. If someone needs tires treaded, they just come to the compound and find us. It’s a very straightforward way to earn a living. We just keep our heads down and focus on the rubber and the heat. The location is practical for the trucks to reach us without too much trouble. It is just us working in the compound every day.
