Redart

Redart is located at PL-6 in the Bhavani Nagar Society, right off LH Road. It’s a busy neighborhood where houses and small businesses are all mixed together. We’ve been here at Matawadi for a few years now, and it feels like home. Our workspace isn't very large, providing just enough room for designing and storing our supplies. Things can get a bit cramped when several projects are going on at the same time. Outside on the street, you’ll usually see plenty of scooters and people heading to the local market. There is no big sign on our building, just our name written on the door. Most of the day is spent sitting at the tables, working with our hands. A corporate way of doing things never really appealed to us. We prefer talking to people directly to figure out exactly what they are looking for. Sometimes the noise from kids playing in the society drifts through our window, but it’s a nice distraction. Every day brings a variety of small jobs, mostly for folks living nearby or other local shops. High-end software isn't always our first choice; a pencil and a piece of paper often work better. The inside of the shop stays a bit messy with scraps and materials, but that’s how we get things done. We are just regular people trying to do something we enjoy in our own corner of the city.
