Started the shop at Plot No 281 in Marti Nager quite a while back. Limbayat is a busy place and we just try to keep up with what folks around here need. Every morning starts with cleaning the glass counters and checking the new stock that came in overnight. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular medical shop where we keep the usual medicines and some other health supplies. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit messy outside on the street, but we stay open regardless. People from the neighborhood come by, some we know by name now because they’ve been coming for years. We spend a lot of time looking at prescriptions and making sure we pull the right boxes off the shelves. It’s mostly just me and a couple of others helping out. We don’t do big ads or anything like that. Word of mouth in Limbayat is usually enough. The shelves are getting a bit crowded these days because there are so many different brands for the same thing now. Sometimes the heat gets a bit much in the afternoons, but the fan keeps things moving. We just focus on getting the right stuff to whoever walks through the door. There’s always paperwork to do with the distributors too, which takes up more time than you’d think. It’s a simple life running a shop like this, just taking things one day at a time and making sure the inventory is okay.
