Ravv Ventures is set up in the GIDC area of Sachin in Surat. Specifically, we are at Plot No 438/B, which is the same place as the Shree Hajarimal Dye and Ptg Mills. It’s a very industrial part of town. You can hear the hum of the factories and the sound of big trucks moving in and out all day long. Our office isn't separate from that world; we are right in the middle of it. We deal with various ventures and projects from this small space. It’s not a place for people who want a quiet, air-conditioned sanctuary. It’s a place for work. We have our desks, our laptops, and a lot of notebooks filled with ideas and numbers. The air often smells like the chemicals from the nearby mills, which is just how it is in Sachin. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values stuck to the walls. Our value is just showing up and doing the work that needs to be done. We drink tea from the local stall and talk to the other business owners in the GIDC. It’s a gritty, hardworking environment and that’s why we like it. We don't need any polish to do what we do. We just need a working lightbulb and a decent internet connection. That’s enough for us to keep the ventures moving along.
