Our shop is located at 19 Adajan Dn, right near the Nalasopara Maruti Godown, which makes it easy for people to find us if they are in the area. We spend most of our time dealing with all kinds of tires, from the small ones on scooters to the bigger ones for cars. It is a lot of hands-on work, getting our hands dirty with grease and rubber every single day. The shop gets pretty busy in the afternoons when everyone is out and about. We have got all the basic tools lying around to fix punctures or swap out an old set of wheels that have seen better days. It can get quite hot inside the workspace, so we usually have the big fans going. We don’t really have a big team, just a few of us making sure that the work gets done so people can get back on the road without waiting too long. Sometimes we just sit outside for a bit when it is quiet and watch the traffic go by toward the godown. Most folks who come here are locals from around Adajan who know us by name. We try to keep things straightforward and just tell people what needs fixing without any extra talk. The smell of new rubber is something you never really get used to, but it reminds us that there is always work to be done. It is a decent living and we like being part of the local street.
