Ravi Electronics

Ravi Electronics is tucked away over at Badrappa Layout G 14, right off Tower Road. It’s one of those shops where there’s always something being pulled apart on the counter. We’ve got wires, circuit boards, and old components scattered around because that’s the nature of electronics. You can’t really fix things without making a bit of a mess first. People bring in all sorts of gadgets that have stopped working, hoping we can bring them back to life. Sometimes it's a quick solder job, other times we have to hunt for a part that isn't made anymore. We’ve been in this spot on Tower Road for a good while. The layout has changed around us, but we’re still in the same unit. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a workshop where we spend the day hunched over a desk with a magnifying glass. We know the regulars who stop by just to see what we’re working on or to ask a quick question about a radio or a TV. We don’t promise miracles, just that we’ll take a look and see what can be done. It’s a quiet way to make a living, but there’s always something new to figure out. Most days are just us, the smell of solder, and the sound of the traffic outside on the road. It's a steady life here in the layout, and we like the challenge of figuring out why things stopped working in the first place.
