Our company, Ramchandra Dahyabhai Narrow Fab Pvt Ltd, is located at 4/2437 on Salabatpura Main Road. We are pretty close to the Syndicate Bank, so we’re easy to find if you’re in that part of the city. We’ve been around for quite a long time, and the name has been on the door for generations. We make narrow fabrics, which is basically just ribbons, tapes, and elastics. It’s a very specific kind of work. The machines we use are old but they still run well if you know how to fix them when they get stuck. The building is a bit dark inside and smells like machine oil and cotton. It’s a smell you get used to after the first week. We don’t have a lot of modern office furniture. We use the same wooden desks that have been here since the start. We aren't interested in being a big corporate entity with lots of meetings. We just watch the looms and make sure the threads don't snap. Sometimes the traffic on Salabatpura Main Road is so loud we have to shout to hear each other. We take our breaks together and usually just talk about everyday things. We don't have a marketing plan or any big goals. We just want to keep the machines running and the orders filled. It’s what our family has done, and it’s what we do now.
