Our place, Jsk Industries Pvt. Ltd., is out in Rakholi Village. It’s a bit of a drive to get here, but it’s quieter than the main part of Silvassa. We are located at 126/1-B, and the Rakholi School is just nearby. You can hear the kids playing during their breaks, which is a nice change from the usual factory noises. The site is a decent size, and we’ve got a lot of equipment to look after. Managing an industrial unit in a place like this has its own set of challenges, like making sure the supplies arrive on time when the roads are slow. We don't have a fancy office with leather chairs. It’s more about the metal desks and the stacks of files. We focus on the production side of things mostly. The weather here can be really humid, so the staff usually takes a breather in the shade when they can. We’ve been part of the Silvassa landscape for a while now. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the products are made correctly and things look okay. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we take it seriously. Sometimes we have to stay late when a big order comes in, but everyone just pitches in and gets it done without much complaining. It keeps the lights on and the business going through the seasons. We are just local people doing our best with what we have.
