Pankaj Extrusions Ltd.

Pankaj Extrusions Ltd. is out on Khanvel Road in Rakholi. We are at 15/1/4, right where the industrial area starts to get a bit more spread out. Silvassa has changed a lot over the years, but this road stays pretty much the same. We do extrusion work, which involves a lot of heat and heavy machinery. It’s the kind of place where you have to watch your step because there’s always something being moved around. The air is thick with the smell of hot metal or plastic depending on the run. We aren’t a corporate office with suits and ties. Most of us are in work clothes all day. We have a small yard where we keep the raw materials. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning. We’ve got a couple of old fans that do their best, but they mostly just move the hot air around the floor. It’s honest work. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy things about us. We just make the parts people ask for and try to keep the machines in good shape. Sometimes things break down and we spend the whole day covered in grease trying to fix them. That’s just part of the job here in Rakholi. We’ve been doing this for a long time and we know our machines well. We just get the job done and head home.
